Thripunithura Sree poornathrayeesha Temple

Location

The temple is located at Thripunithura, nearly 10Km from Ernakulam Town.  This temple is the at the heart of Thripunithura. Poornathrayeesha is also called as 'Thripunithura Appan'.  Temple is located in the midst of the township and very near to the Thripunithura Municipal Office. Back of the temple 'Poorna river' is flowing. The Iron bridge which was built in the time of British empire is located here. The temple is under the administration of Kochin Devaswom Board.

Thripunithura is a muncipality.  It is in Ernakulam District.  Thripunithura is called land of temples.  It can be also called as a centre for arts.  The famous RLV College of Arts is very near to Sree poornathrayeesha temple.  Governement Ayurveda College is nearly 1 Km from the town.  Thripunithura was the head quarters of Cochin Royal family.
