It may be for the first time in the world a herd of elephants got invitation to attend a marriage feast. This story happened in Thrissur, the Groom Dr. Giridas who is a veterinary Surgeon in Panjal Hospital. He had treated more than 100 elephants during his official duty. So he can not think about a marriage without these wild friends. Around 50 elephants came for the marriage. The feast consists of coconut, Dates, Fruits, Vegetables and Biscuits. Dr. himself given the sweets to his guests and his wife Darsana was very happy to see this big feast.
