Jumbo dies after being hit by the train in between Valayar and Kanjikkode
The elephant was hit by the Tea Garden Express. Train dragged the elephant to approximately 200meters and then stopped. The internal organs of the elephant are scattered over the track. The elephant was descended from the forest. Three years ago a baby elephant and mother was hit by a running train.
