Baby elephant fell in a well near the forest area of Perumbavoor

Female baby elephant around 2 years old fell into a well in a Rubber Estate near Ayinichal.  The elephants came crossing the Periyar and they tried to rescue the baby. Forest officials have arranged two trained elephants from Kodanad to rescue the baby

Kodanad is in the banks of Periyar.  Serene atmosphere and the wild beauty with the trumpeting music of elephants. You can see the baby elephants. Another main attraction is elephant safari.  A zoo is also there.
