The elephantine affection towards the Tusker
An elephant lover of Kerala Mr. Vijayan nair of Mulloth family at Korattikkara near Koottanad had spent 15 Lakhs for his tusker Vijayakrishnan.  He spends Rs. 20,000/- monthly for food and other expenses .

Vijayan Nair is running a restaurant at London.  He bought his elephant for his son Biju who is a Computer Engineer at London. 

He had constructed a huge shed of  11x9sq.meter area and 6.5meter height for his son's pet.  For bathing he had made a well in which water will be purified after every bath.  He had bought 1 Acre plot for the elephant.  The elephant has two mahouts.

 Every year he will come to Kerala to spend some time with Vijayakrishnan and to see some festivals with caparisoned elephants.
